Midu horses enter the endurence world
. Several horses either bred by Midu Arabians or by Midu Arabian stallions are now competing in endurance. We are so proud to have these horses and their owners representing our stud and our stallions. While most of these horses are only new to endurance competition, they are all acrediting themselves and their owners very well, and Midu Arabians wish them all the very best for the future.

Jayhal Ramadi, sire Meadow Magic (Imp USA), owned and ridden by Rian Newbury. (photo attached of Rian & Ramadi at Kingaroy Ride 2003).

Midu Arial (Talquah Telstar x Midu Nazeeka). Owned by Craig Ellison and family. This amazing little mare has been competing successfully for Craig for the last two years. She was last ridden at the Manilla 80kg ride, where she broke a 20 year old endurance record, finishing in 3 hours 37minutes. There should be more info coming on Arial, I am waiting for her owners to send it along with a picture of her.

July 2004- Meadow Magic has produced his first Straight Egyptian foal
, a beautiful filly, Chaswyck Manara, out of Simeon Sooka, and owned by Chaswyck Arabians. This filly is a combination of the best points of both her sire and dam, and Midu Arabians are very proud that Ron and Lorraine decided to use Meadow Magic (Imp USA) over their beautiful mare Simeon Sooka. Manara has been shown only twice, winning her class in her first show Pan Pacifics, and Top 5 filly at the Queensland Challenge Show. Manara has been sold to New Zealand.

On 18th May
2003, MIDU ARABIANS,combined with Moondarra Arabians, Asab Arabians, Charaway Arabians and Artell Arabians to hold a very successful open day. Each stud presented horses, either representatives of the stud or sale horses. A crowd of approximately 150 turned up to enjoy the parade of horse and also a friendly get-together. The parade was opened by prominent arabians breeder Tom Sharman from Jangharm Arabians, and artwork was presented by Lisa Lanyon.

In 2003 Midu Arabians acquired their first two Straight Egyptian mares, Dynasty Damaris and Chaswyck Moonbeam. These mares will be the beginning of Midu Arabians Straight Egyptian breeding program.
